Aston & Nechells Foodbank

Aston & Nechells Foodbank is a non-profit organization devoted to feeding locals in need. The food bank has had a significant impact on the community, assisting 2,164 more persons in 2022 compared to 2021. The food store assisted 3,900 individuals in 2021 and 6,064 individuals in 2022.

The Aston & Nechells Foodbank is supported by Trussell Trust, which has assisted in the establishment and operation of numerous food banks in the United Kingdom. Schools, churches, businesses, and individuals donate nonperishable food that is within its expiration date to the food bank. Volunteers arrange and inspect food for quality and expiration dates before packing it into cartons for distribution to those in need.
