FIND Food Bank is a non-profit organisation in southern California dedicated to combating poverty in eastern Riverside and southern San Bernardino Counties. They are one of the 200 food banks that comprise the Feeding America network, a nationwide network of food banks. The mission of Organization is to provide nourishing food to those in need, and they adhere to the principles of equity to ensure that everyone has access to food.

In 2021, the Organization provided 20 million meals per month to over 150,000 individuals at over 150 distribution sites. In addition, they have a robust mobile supply system in 44 additional locations. In their region, they sustain an average of 150,000 individuals per month.

The Organization is responsible for supplying 75% to 100% of the entire food supply for over 100 of the desert’s largest charity kitchens, food pantries, and religious organisations. They collaborate closely with these organisations to ensure they have access to the sustenance they require to service their respective communities. In addition, there are community-based organizations, mobile markets, and home-bound delivery programmes that provide up to 50 pounds of food to families living in food deserts.

Organization provides outreach services for food benefits, rental and utility assistance, unemployment, SSI, and other financial resources during one-on-one meetings with clients. In addition, they have a senior nutrition program, Commodity Supplemental Food Program, which provides $50 worth of food once a month to individuals older than 60. They advocate for the USDA’s TEFAP & CSFP commodity supplemental food programme and offer programmes for children and schools. In addition, they have a programme for senior adults that provides calfresh and SNAP and adjusts the quantity based on monthly medical expenses.
