With their new name, Nourishing Hope aims to ensure that no Chicagoan worries about food or feels alone.

Mission and Services: Providing Food and More

Nourishing Hope is dedicated to providing food, mental wellness counseling, and various services to those in need. Their mission revolves around serving individuals holistically, with a focus on personalized food distribution, mental health support, and resource navigation. In the previous year alone, Nourishing Hope supplied an impressive 4 million meals and assisted over 21,000 families for the first time. They prioritize the dignity and respect of those they serve, aiming to build a better future for Chicago communities.

Expanding Reach: New Headquarters and Partnerships

To better serve the growing needs of the community, Nourishing Hope has opened a new headquarters on the West Side of Chicago. This new facility facilitates expanded services, including drive-through pickup, increased storage capacity, mental wellness counseling, and collaborative spaces. Through partnerships with the Greater Chicago Food Depository and grocery partners, over 92% of the food distributed by Nourishing Hope is donated. These collaborations allow Nourishing Hope to maximize their impact and provide essential resources to those in need.
