Description

The Bowery Mission

A non-profit organisation with headquarters in New York City, The Bowery Mission offers a wide range of services to aid those who are homeless or poor. The organisation, which was established in 1870, has spent more than 150 years assisting individuals and families in overcoming issues including homelessness, poverty, and other hardships.

The Bowery Mission provides a variety of programmes to help those who are homeless or poor. Meals, housing, healthcare, programmes for recovering from addictions, employment assistance, and educational services are among these services. The group also runs a mobile outreach programme to offer services directly to those who are homeless.

The Bowery Mission runs a number of other initiatives in addition to its primary services to assist its customers. They consist of a women’s centre, a residential addiction rehabilitation programme, a transitional housing programme, and a career development programme. The Bowery Mission aims to provide its clients the tools and resources they require through these programmes in order for them to reconstruct their lives and become self-sufficient.
