The Community Meals program offers those groups a straightforward but significant chance to help the hungry. Once a week, for example, Community Meals contributors could prepare a dish for 10 to 20 individuals, and the organization makes sure it reaches the most vulnerable.
• Emergency Response: The program makes extensive use of volunteer networks, safety-net partners, food partner ties, and technological systems to respond to more frequent disasters and emergencies promptly.
