An array of mental health services are offered to the community through the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Elgin Branch, a nonprofit organisation. Their services are intended to aid people in overcoming mental health difficulties, to advance mental wellbeing, and to improve general quality of life.

Brief Counseling is one of the main services provided by the CMHA Elgin Branch. This programme offers people solution-focused, brief counselling to address a range of mental health issues. The Case Management programme at the CMHA Elgin Branch assists people in navigating the mental health system and finding the right resources and assistance.

The Crisis & Intake programmes at the CMHA Elgin Branch can provide urgent help and assistance during times of need. This service, which is offered round-the-clock, is intended to assist those in need in getting the immediate assistance they want.

The CMHA Elgin Branch provides Forensic Case Management and Justice Services/Court Assistance for persons engaged in the legal system. For those who are navigating the legal system while dealing with mental health issues, these programmes provide assistance and direction.

For those who need severe mental health treatment and assistance in the community, the CMHA Elgin Branch also offers Community Treatment Orders (CTOs). For those having their first psychotic episode, the PEPP (Early Intervention) programme is also offered.

The CMHA Elgin Branch also provides social rehabilitation and vocational rehabilitation programmes. These programmes are intended to assist people in acquiring the abilities they need to deal with their mental health issues and lead independent lives.

Last but not least, the CMHA Elgin Branch runs a Community Mental Health Clinic that offers a variety of mental health services to people in the neighbourhood. The clinic provides evaluation, diagnostic, and treatment services, as well as counselling and medication management.
